This is without a doubt that the journey of Kailash Mansarovar Yatra remains one of my most cherished experience, the reason that I can still talk about it despite the fact that I completed the Mount Kailash Parikrama in August 2018. It is said that the journey of Mount Kailash Yatra will going to showcase you its various facets and it is upon you to decide what do you really want to make out of this once in a lifetime opportunity of traveling to Lord Shiva’s abode
Let me tell you my experience honestly. I didn’t plan to visit Kailash Mansarovar Yatra because I am a believer of Lord Shiva. I never believed in the god, the way it has been shown to us in the temples or at homes. Mount Kailash Yatra drew my attention because of the experiences that I have heard from the people who have completed the Kailash Parikrama successfully. There have been a lot of miracle stories from the abode of Lord Shiva, which makes it one of the most mysterious places of the world. Of course, no one knows how it happens but every pilgrim who travels to Mount Kailash has said to gain out of this place and precisely the reason why I got inquisitive of doing Kailash Mansarovar Yatra.
And there were a lot of changes that I experienced within myself. Not religiously but spiritually. I am not kidding. The sheer faith that you would feel from a look at the faces of people you meet during Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, which made me realize that sometimes it is a good idea to surrender and not question everything that you are going to be told. Sometimes, it is these tales which will make you learn a lot from it. It is absolutely a good idea to observe and accept what it is because everything can’t be logic because in finding practicality, we lose the joy of magic
At the start of my Parikrama around Mount Kailash, I was told to keep my eyes and ears open because what I am going to experience will be a miracle. And true to its words it was a miracle. It is not about the landscape beauty that I was witnessing along but it was the sheer energies at Mount Kailash which I felt here. I could seriously feel the powerful sensations all around my body throughout my journey of doing Kailash Mansarovar Yatra which I think got stronger with the conviction of people traveling here for it being an abode of Lord Shiva
And therefore, when I was told that there are mysterious signs of the presence of Lord Shiva which I am going to see during Mount Kailash Parikrama, I chose to accept. Before I proceed further with this blog to share what are these signs, let me also mention that it is entirely upon you to decide whether you want to believe this or not. Like I mentioned earlier, sometimes it is wise enough to see things as it is and enjoy the beauty of this acceptance
The Mysterious Signs of Lord Shiva at Mount Kailash Yatra
As I started with Mount Kailash Parikrama, you would feel as if every mountain is conveying a message to you and I am not even kidding. There will be periodic formations which I spotted at regular intervals, something which will form a face and when you look at those mountains from close, it feels as if they are calling you
A further walk revealed a Swastika which considered as a symbol of good luck in Hinduism. I spotted a Nandi like figure looking at Mount Kailash, a sacred bull calf, gatekeeper, and vehicle (vahana) of the Hindu god Shiva.
A fellow companion was stunned spotting an elephant eye while we were preparing for an evening aarti at the North face of Mount Kailash in Deraphuk. Elephant eye is a projection of Lord Ganesha, who was the son of Lord shiva and had a face of an elephant
Like I mentioned, you can or you cannot believe these signs. I myself questioned it but I would also like to mention that it is completely up to you know what you want to take out of Mount Kailash journey but one thing is sure that Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is one journey that I still cherish and will continue to cherish for a longer time
