Wildlife Spotting at Kailash Mansarovar Yatra: The month of July and August is an amazing time to spot some of the rare species at Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. I was left mesmerised spotting umpteen species of birds around the Lake Mansarovar and saw two variety of cats while doing the Parikrama around Mount Kailash. I was told that during these months, Kailash Mansarovar Yatra trail attracts around 15 species of animals along with hundreds of different bird type, which makes it a prominent site for a wildlife enthusiast.

The Unseen Rugged Beauty of Tibet: It goes without saying that the trail of Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is magical enough, that it will leave you spellbound most of the time. The rugged beauty of Tibet which you shall witness on your way towards Mount Kailash, is mesmerising enough that I was speechless most of the time. I mean for a moment I seriously couldn’t decide which way to look at and where to click or just sit and adore the picturesque beauty that I was seeing with my naked eyes. The Back- Breaking Road Trip: You know experiencing the trail of Mount Kailash myself I can say this that Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is actually a dream trail for every adventurous enthusiast. I mean come to think of it, I never imagined riding amidst a river, to reach a town because the patch had NO ROADS. What’s more to say here?

A Mythological Bliss: Look at any corner of Lord Shiva’s abode and you would bound to find a tale hidden. I mean there would be any rare patch where you wouldn’t hear any story associated with it. Honestly, for someone like me who would love to hear mythological tales, Kailash Mansarovar Yatra trail is a blessing for its never- ending mysteries. There is no end to it. Seriously

There is also one thing that remained with me about Kailash Mansarovar Yatra and that is the striking similarity of its terrain with our country landscape. I remember, the moment I clear the Chinese immigration and entered China, I was instantly reminded of Kashmir looking at the surroundings on my way to Keyrong.

The trip ahead transported me to Ladakh, since the trail of Mount Kailash is considered to be an extension of India. I was both happy as well as sad to see it because I wish to see the world without borders one day. There are things that you really need to accept on somedays
